A Blissful Weekend Away ...
Our blissful four-day weekend away with Jason included:
- the realization that it's a good idea to bring more than a vest for warmth when traveling to the Rockies.
- my husband and I making up lyrics for the song "Dirty Ass Cass" that he originally wrote with one of his friends. It's one of those songs that gets in your head and you find yourself singing it out loud.
- Grey's Anatomy. Definitively the most boring, pointless, biggest waste of time ever. One dimensional characters, cliche plots, mindless drumble, blah blah blah. I couldn't even get through the first season!
- Missing Jacob SOOO much!
- SUCH a great time when our best friends met us there for a day and night. She is pregnant, and only a week behind me ... We had the greatest time. AND I was happy to discover that Ann can't stand Grey's Anatomy either. How wonderful. Too bad they live so stinkin' far away.
- Excitement about Christmas. I am excited for next Christmas too, because a new house and new bebe makes it all the funner.
- a year after I married Jason, I realize I love him just as much or more than when we had our private and intimate gathering and said our written vows to each other (and his to Jacob). I love him for more reasons than I ever could have known. And we are good for each other.
