Orphan Annie ...

This Christmas was so amazing. And I did have a great time with Jake, my sister, my mom and my step-dad. But I also felt orphaned.
It's not that they aren't enough.
They are.
My sister got invited to my father's Christmas dinner. I am not in any way surprised I wasn't invited. Nor would I have gone to their house.
I'm just still disappointed.
And I almost let it ruin my otherwise-wonderful Christmas.
I need to learn not to do that.
